SUSTAINABLE LUXURY AND JEWERLY
This book - written by Ivan Coste-Manière and Miguel Angel Gardetti - analyzes the current trends in luxury and jewelry and presents how to make them sustainable for a better future. In the age of sustainability, we are increasingly seeing designers and consumers begin to think beyond how a product looks and functions, and are especially concerned about what has happened during its manufacturing process and what will happen once its useful life comes to an end. Today, consumers value that every product and industrial process must be sustainable, beneficial to people, the economy and the planet, and the same is true for jewelry.
SUSTAINABLE LUXURY AND CRAFTMANSHIP

It also looks at how sustainable luxury can offer a vehicle for greater respect for the environment and social development as well as being synonymous with culture, art and innovation of diverse nationalities, continuing the legacy of local craftsmanship.

Sustainable luxury is a return to the essence of luxury with its ancestral meaning, to thoughtful purchasing, to artisanal manufacturing, to the beauty of materials in their broadest sense, and to respect for social and environmental issues. There are people who have a deep look at environmental and social problems because there is a relationship between personal values and sustainability, entrepreneurship and innovation. And in practice, this has been perceived in the processes of the first and second edition of the Award for Best Performance in Sustainable Luxury in Latin America, which allowed the organizers to establish deep relationships with entrepreneurs in the luxury sector such as, for example, Diana Verde Nieto (Positive Luxury, UK); Oliver Wayman and Cameron Saul (Bottle Top, UK), Kavita Palmar (The IOU Project), Carry Sommers (Pachacuti, UK) among others. They are transformational leaders, who inspire, intellectually stimulate and possess a vital relationship for the achievement of change towards sustainability.
How can we harness the inspiration and energy of entrepreneurs in the luxury world to create a sustainable, inclusive and just society? This book opens a fascinating window into the answer to the question posed through the first-person accounts of the stories of the people who forged innovative ventures.
